Dr. Kane is a graduate of the University of Debrecen, Medical & Health Science Center in Debrecen, Hungary. In 2006, Dr. Kane completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, a teaching institute affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. It was during his years as a medical resident that he became fascinated with the growing field of Wound Care.
After graduating from his Internal Medicine program, Dr. Kane joined a Wound Care practice in Southern New Jersey, providing high-quality wound care in the outpatient, subacute and long-term care settings. Using the skills he mastered, Dr. Kane founded Kane Wound Care in 2010 to provide a brand of Wound Care medicine that compassionately catered to the whole patient. His continued passion for Wound Care led him to create a facility like Princeton Wound Care Center where patients’ care could be continued in an outpatient setting. His areas of interest include the hyperbaric oxygen chambers and their various positive effects on multiple chronic and debilitating diseases such as Acute Brain Injury (ABI), Cerebral Vascular Accidents or strokes (CVA) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
It is his belief that hyperbaric medicine may unlock the key to healing many ailments and diseases and he remains committed to further pursuing research on hyperbaric technology with his wound care team.
Dr. Kane is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM) where he holds an advanced Certification in Wound Care for Physicians (CWSP).
